Maybe it was just that the time of year had everyone in the shopping spirit, but our December issue drew lots of emails inquiring where readers could find some of the items we featured. “On page 63, I saw a resin necklace (left) from São Paulo,” writes Jimmy Ishii. “I am now in São Paulo and looking for this necklace. Please let me know where I can find it.” Another reader, John Scott, writes, “I’m trying to track down the São Paulo shop that sells the pendant pictured in the December issue—any suggestions?” Stephan Talty, the author of “Three Perfect Days: São Paulo,” was able to provide the answer: “The necklace was designed by a famous Brazilian designer, Carlos Sobral.
